Study shows increasingly people are seeking spirit
A recent report suggest that people are moving away from religion and are seeking spirituality. In India there has been a huge shift to Spirit from their traditional religions. The reasons for this is that the seeker deep down inside is searching for a spiritual experience. In many ways religion has removed the spirit from their teachings. Spirituality is based in love for the Source of all and others.
Spirituality is for the deep seeker of meaning.
Think of this, this big beautiful Universe which is so intelligently designed is a drop in the bucket to all the millions of light years of distance in space. There is no end to the light years of distance, this is amazing!
Not to mention Earth is so small compared to the Universe and beyond that it is like taking one of your hair and spliting it millions of tines to nothing.
This is where the spiritual person gets the deep longing. With all the wonders of life am I here just to work 30 years on a job? I’m I just fighting to go to work then I just curl up and die?
Jesus knew the Source of Love was too big for religion. Religion said kill the woman who cheated on her husband, Jesus said loves says we CANNOT do this.
Why? because Love is too big for religion. It is common for religious people to think that spiritual people can do whatever they want without rules but this is not true.
Spirituality is based on the golden rule of treating other how you want to be treated. It says do not do adultery because it hurts the other person or how would you feel if someone you really loved cheated on you? It is always based on love of the other person. This thinking eliminates rape, murder,stealing…etc
Bible quote” If you say you love God but hate your brother you are a liar. Love of Source is rooted in caring for others. You cannot divorce Source from others. Seek the spirit of truth in Love.
Jesus: Enter through me into the Source of love.
When you think about it that is not offensive… a door into LOVE… it is actually a beautiful invition.
this is beautiful! religion is centralised, and aims to concentrate power, bring people under a yoke and a pope. Spirituality is self seeking, driven by the heart and soul, an earnest and honest pursuit of what IS. The two are quite fundamentally opposed.
for a long time now man has labored under the crushing and dominating influence of religious institutions. Through printing and more democratic forms of government, we are gradually learning to think for ourselves, conceive of our own views. Man becomes the unique spirit that he is.
in spirituality we can dwell in true happiness, true joy. The light shines bright in these times
Spirituality is seeking a benevolent way to live life without accountability to God for the choices individuals make throughout their lives. Behind the mask of spirituality is the true face of unadulterated malevolency.
Religion is the method mankind created to seek God, love, and peace, but it disappoints everytime and stifles the full life Jesus provides to those who He has, and desires, to save from their sin.
Jesus is God reaching out to the world to provide real hope, true love, absolute truth, peace, joy and eternal life. These things are free to everyone who believes, provided they believe as God has deemed it necessary to believe in order to have a relationship with Him.
The Spiritual person is accountable to God. The spiritual person puts the emphasis on Love over Law. Jesus told the religious of his day that “God desire mercy not sacrifice” It was a call to the religious to learn the greatest law which is Love and God is love.
