When teens Neve Lafferty, 15, and Georgia Rowe, 14 jumped from a bridge it should send a message to adults that we have failed teens!
When two teenage girls 14 and 15 jumped from a bridge last week it is a sad message to all of us. It is a message that what we are doing is wrong. These innocent babies (and yes they are babies) message is that the life we gave them is not worth living!
This is a message to all adults that we have lost our way. We are worried about the economy and the recession but the children have long abandoned the help of adults. The teens see adults as out of touch. Much of teen respect for adults is gone, they realize adults have no answers to the pain in the teen.
We may have the worst generation of parents in modern times.
These 2 girls were in foster care, abandoned by the very parents who brought them into the world. America and Europe have a horrible parenting problem.
How do we know? We get the letter daily from teens who hate life
The parents are ofcourse clueless, working a 50 hour week to try to pay for things they cannot afford. The teen suicide of these 2 girls is a loud message to every parent..foster care is NOT ok!
Raise the child you bring in the world! We have no time to love children because we are chasing to pay the bills
My heart goes out to these 2 girls. I know they felt unloved and it is a shame on every adult who knew them.
I pray they are in the hands of the Source of all love now
